Easy Money (Snabba Cash) is a Scandinavian thriller based on the novel by James Ellroy Calls, that follows the lives of three very different men, on a collision course with each other. An ex-drug trafficker breaks out of prison and jumps straight back into his former profession, a mob enforcer and a poor student pretending to be rich and successful so he can be accepted by the social elite are all on a ride that they have little control over.
It’s gritty and dark and serves up a pretty wild ride, with plenty of action and double crosses to keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat. Though if you’re not used to subtitles you may find your self getting lost, and if your attention span is limited, some periods of melodramatic meandering may prove to the film films downfall.
But stick with it and the ending, that leave questions unanswered, will have you anticipating what comes next.
