Uwe Boll Makes 2 Films Out Of One?
I’m not sure how Uwe Boll still gets to make films – he’s yet to make even a half decent one, yet he keeps pushing them out. He even tried his hand at a trilogy of ‘serious’ films; prison thriller Stoic, political drama Darfur, and holocaust movie Auschwitz. Not that serious is his thing.
There must be a market for the crap he keeps producing – one that I’m guessing is mostly direct to DVD, but I’m scratching my head wondering who – besides inebriated people – would actually enjoy Boll’s work.
With the release of the utterly horrible (not to mention degrading) trailer for Blubberella, and the recent release of a new trailer for the re-named Bloodrayne film (now called Bloodrayne: The Third Reich) one has to wonder if Boll actually has a certain amount of financial cunning. Take a look at both trailers and tell me I’m wrong when I say that the only difference is the size (and athletic abilities) of the heroine.
Has anyone else in cinematic history made two films at the same time, with the same cast, sets and storyline?
