Hordes of Zombies!
I love a good zombie flick, in fact, I love just about anything to do with zombies, books, graphic novels, even the occasional foreign movie – I can’t wait for [REC] to be released later this week. Now, thanks to /film I know of another interesting take on the zombie genre:
Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher’s The Horde could probably be described as Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead meets Die Hard meets The Shield. Executive produced by Frontier(s) helmer Xavier Gens, the story follows four corrupt police officers who raid an abandoned tower looking for a group of gangsters who killed one of their colleagues. But when a zombie outbreak hits, the policemen must unite with the gangsters in order to survive from the hordes of oncoming undead.
Sounds rather delectable, especially after seeing 28 Weeks Later, where the movie ends with zombies running through Paris… Check out the poster below and keep scrolling south for some lighter zombie fun…
That’s what I call a sweet zombie poster.
And now for something completely different….
This was recently spotrtd on /film…
Over 25 participants took part in Zombie Apocafest 2008 at BrickCon 2008 in Seattle, WA. Below are some of the scenes from the great zombie apocalypse in LEGO land. You can check out all 63 photos on Flickr.com.
And on the theme of Lego zombies, check out this little YouTube film:
