28 Months Later Finds a Director?
Although we still have yet to hear anything official, it’s definitely looking like another sequel to 28 Days Later is going to happen sooner rather than later. There’s a rumour coming out of the Sitges Film Festival in Germany this week that a director may be lined up for the project and it’s not Danny Boyle, nor is it 28 Weeks Later helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. According to Arrow in the Head, the lucky candidate who may be inheriting the franchise is a relative newcomer by the name of Paul Andrew Williams.
Williams wrote and directed the U.K. horror-comedy The Cottage starring Andy Serkis, and also a thriller called London to Brighton. [filmjunk]
