DVD Review: Terminator Genisys
Terminator Genisys essentially ignores both Rise of the Machines and Terminator Salvation and instead takes it’s clues from the two James Cameron movies, acknowledges what happened in their timelines and starts a completely new story with new actors. As with any time traveling film, especially one that’s ticking and choosing from an existing timeline, it’s probably full of time-travel inconsistencies, but the idea behind Terminator Genisys brings all best bits form the best Terminator films and wraps them up in a new package.
The best thing of course is that we get both versions of Arnie, and a truck load of humour as a result.
An action packed reboot that pays homage to the best of the series, what more could you want from a re-bopot?
